No accounts exist on QuoteWire, so there is no profile of you here to protect. Personal data enters this site through exactly two doors, both opened by you, and leaves through none.

Door one: alerts

A price alert stores one email address plus the trigger conditions, is used once to notify you, and is then cleared from the active queue. Nothing else is attached to it.

Door two: contact

Messages sent through the contact form deliver your name, email and text to our inbox for the sole purpose of replying. We keep the thread as long as the conversation lasts.

Background records

Hosting infrastructure writes ordinary access logs — IP, browser, page, timestamp — retained on the host's standard cycle for security and debugging. We do not build analytics profiles from them.

Advertisements

Third-party networks, including Google AdSense, may serve ads here and may use cookies to select them based on your browsing history across the web. Personalisation can be disabled at Google Ads Settings.

Data feeds

Market quotes are fetched server-to-server. The data providers never see your browser, your IP, or anything about you.
