Professional traders watch markets on dense, fast terminals. Everyone else gets bloated portals stuffed with pop-ups. QuoteWire is our attempt at a middle path: terminal speed and density, browser convenience, zero cost, zero sign-up.

The coverage

Six boards run side by side — world indices, listed shares, cryptocurrencies, currency rates, commodities and bonds. Every instrument has its own page with a chart, its recent range, and straight answers to the obvious questions. Set a threshold on anything and the alert system emails you when the line is crossed.

The data, stated plainly

Quotes come from public market feeds and refresh roughly every minute while a page is open. Exchange rules delay some stock and index quotes by a few minutes; currency reference rates are daily. We publish those caveats because a data site that hides its limitations is not a data site worth using.

What we will never do

No tips. No "buy now" arrows. No pretending a browser dashboard is a brokerage. We show numbers and explain mechanics; what you do with them is entirely your business.
